The recently concluded Jamaica Teachers’ Association’s Education Conference saw the symbolic handing over of laptops to teachers affected by Hurricane Melissa taking place.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth and Information and the JTA, e-Learning Jamaica intends to distribute 500 laptops valued at approximately JMD $36 million to teachers whose devices were damaged during the hurricane.

Over 300 of these laptops have already been distributed.
